I always love showing my art in the gorgeous lobby at The Inn at Laurel Point. The views and beautiful light enhance any artwork. Hope you can come by for a look during the month of March and take in the lovely garden as well.

This non-juried community event at the Sooke Arts Council gallery and gift shop starts February 26th. I have one piece in the show.

I will have two pieces (one is a collaboration with Linda Kirstein) in the 16th annual juried Bloom show at the Goldfinch Arts Centre in Colwood.

Mark Stevenson's 'Water Watcher' will be displayed in a year-long show on the waterfront in Olympia, WA. A celebration will kick off the show at Percival Landing July 13, 4-8PM.

So pleased to now have art on display at Nat’s Coffeehouse in Tsawwassen! I have a mixture of abstracts and seascapes for you to enjoy while you sip your coffee. Thank you to our wonderful community for always supporting local artists!

In September 2024 I travelled to France, and Spain to exhibit at Gálicca International Art Gallery, who now represents me in the European art market.

The City of Florence has eight Art Exposed locations in the Old Town area: Veterans Memorial Park, River Roasters, Rain Garden, Interpretive Center East, Gazebo Park Plaza, Secret Garden, Maple Street Park, and Florence Area Chamber of Commerce Lawn.

Judith is interested in the potential for interactions between Art and Science. She and partner Mike enthusiastically support the endeavors of the Perimeter Institute, Waterloo, Ontario. Eight of Judith's paintings have been accepted into the Perimeter Institute's art collection and installed in various venues within the Perimeter.

SDA's 2025 Juried Exhibition.

Amidst a world in flux, this exhibition will bring together works that cultivate a deeper understanding of in-between spaces and what it can mean to navigate through and reside within them. Edges, thresholds, and borders - whether cultural, environmental, psychological, or physical - can be rigid or fluid, impermable or frayed. Incredible richness exists in places of overlap, and astonishing webs arise where gaps have been stitched over. The interstices are sites of transition, transformation, and sometimes the piecing together of a new home.

This 9 part acrylic painting is a collaboration between myself, Linda Anderson, Linda Simrose, Bernadette Harding, Catherine Mottashed and Linda Kirstein, a pre-Covid painting group that we called the Cliffside Six. Two of the panels are mine. It has been accepted into the latest juried show at Metchosin Artpod.

Traditional framing of watercolours is expensive and creates issues with shipping. An alternative is to mount the completed watercolour on a wooden cradle and then finish the surface with varnish or an equivalent. The painting can then be hung without a frame (on a deep cradle) or framed like an acrylic or oil i.e., without a mat or glass. The result is attractive and it keeps costs down substantially as framing costs can be reduced.

In this demo we will go over the steps involved in fastening the watercolour to the wooden cradle, trimming the piece to match the size of the wooden panel, and protecting the surface using either cold wax, or varnish. Options for finishing the sides of the cradle will also be discussed. The result is attractive and it keeps costs down substantially as framing costs can be reduced or even eliminated. Course Description:
This workshop will explore techniques for painting landscape - rocks, trees, water and sky. There will be a progressive demo each day and lots of one-to-one coaching. Participants can work from their own photo reference, or follow along with the demo image, using supplied photos.
Day 1 will start with a group critique- bring up to 2 pieces for feedback- any subject or medium is ok.

A list of supplies required will be emailed to participants once your attendance is confirmed.

This two day arts and craft market takes place in the gardens surrounding the tennis courts at the Parksville Community Park. Paintings, sculptures, jewelry, pottery, photography, art cards, children’s clothing, art glass and much more will be available to purchase.

The Kitty Coleman Annual Art Festival is one of our favourite attractions, bringing together a spectacular 24-acre venue, dozens of talented artists working in many genres and a panorama of colour and visual delights that grace this site.

This destination art show, with free admission, will amaze you! Sept 12-14 is the date for the the sixteenth-annual Late-Summer edition of the West Fine Art Show. This spectacular show will feature 17 exceptional artists in a three-day exhibition making it a perfect weekend adventure. The show will be hosted at Glass House Estate Winery at 23449 0 Avenue in beautiful south Langley and is in partnership with the Langley Hospice Society. Partial proceeds of all art sales, by each artist, at the show will be donated to Langley Hospice Society.

I will be at the next WEST FINE ART SHOW, on Sept 12, 13, 14, 2025
The show is presented in the fabulous Glass House Estate Winery in south Langley.
I will be among the exceptional artists at this show and will be on hand to greet visitors .
