ArtSites Updates

Today, I wanted to mention a tip that Geoff and I often recommend to our artists, especially when printing their domain name or email addresses.

For domain names and email addresses, capitalization (or lack thereof) doesn't matter when you type a domain name or email address.

In other words, ArtSites.ca and artsites.ca will get you to the same webpage or email address.

However, most people will find artsites.ca harder to read. Is it "arts" "it" "es" - No ;-) Or is it a typo for "artiste"? No.

When you use capitalization you make it easier for the reader to know when a new word starts.

For some of you with longer domain names, we'd strongly recommend that you break up all the letters in the your domain names with Capitals so that everyone will have an easier time reading and recognizing your domain name.

(The same would be true for an email address, e.g. Rochelle@ArtSites.ca ;-)

So, now feel free to Capitalize and make your domain names and email addresses easier to read! :-)
